Welcome to the Smartest Virtual Tour of the Best Cities in Spain!
The purpose of this project is to collaborate as a class to create an information-rich, beautifully-designed wiki (website) on our favorite Spanish cities.
Getting Started
To make your page, click on Pages and Files on the left.
Then click New Page on the upper right.
Name your page like so: Your City--Your Names (but change it accordingly!)
Add tags if you like. Tags should be helpful & descriptive--see the tag cloud at the bottom of this page. More examples you could use: Spain museums culture (How about some Spanish words?)
Click Create.
Edit your page. Add all your good information & ideas in the categories provided.
Make sure you are being clear & precise. Think quality over quantity.
Write in your own words, your own voice. There's very little need to cut & paste from your research for this project.
When designing your web page, aim for legibility and simplicity. Experiment with your text options (upper left buttons), but don't go too crazy!
Definitely include some visuals to make things more interesting. Creative Commons http://search.creativecommons.org/ is a great site that provides copyright-friendly images. To upload, use the File button above (the one that looks like a tiny landscape). And remember, captions are always a good idea.
You can also include links to outside web pages, if relevant. Use the Link button above (the one that looks like a chain).
Video is also an option. Just be a good editor--no one wants to watch something long & boring! Use the Widget button above (the TV one).
Remember to cite all your sources at the bottom of the page. Use EasyBib!
And definitely remember to SAVE!
